Young People

Childhood and teenage years are a time of rapid change and development. Whilst most children grow up mentally healthy, young people can experience a range of mental health problems. You may notice changes in moods or behaviour, either a home, at school or with friends.

Whether you are a young person, a parent or a professional we can help you with information and support.

We all need a bit of help sometimes, but it can be difficult to know how or who to ask.

Sometimes it can feel like we don't have any control over what we think or how we feel. By making simple change to our lives and talking through what worries us, we can make a real difference to our mental health.

How we can help you:

- Face-to-face therapies

- Online therapy through SilverCloud

- Attendance at workshops if you are exposed to a care giver with a mental health condition

- Work with your school and/or parents to help them to better understand the difficulties you might be facing and how they can best support you.

SilverCloud has programs specifically designed for teenagers with topics such as relationships, low mood, anxiety and exam stress. You can use SilverCloud on any device by downloading the app or logging in from a computer. You can take a look at what SilverCloud has to offer by clicking here, or emailing us to find out more.
